When I thought about the word, pivot, I used to think of the military. Soldiers turning on a dime via commands from an authority figure. Why do they have to sound so aggressive giving commands? Sounds so mean. 

Now, when I have to check myself and pivot, I'm that authoritative voice. Not so mean but definitely serious. Sometimes, a situation will stop you in your tracks and make you put the breaks on and pivot. And not just a spin on the heal but a hard pivot where you need to pause and pray. Pray to God. Pray to the sun and earth. Pray to the universe. 

All I can say is, when you feel it, don't ignore it. Go with it.
